Objectivos de aprendizagem | Learning outcomes
- Fornecer aos estudantes elementos de informação e de formação acerca da geografia e da História da Coreia;
- Fornecer aos estudantes os grandes padrões da sociedade, economia e política da Coreia na mais longa duração;
- Iniciar os estudantes nos padrões das relações externas da Coreia com a China, Japão e Ocidente;
- Fornecer aos estudantes um panorama da modernidade coreana no século XXI.

1 – Elementos de Geografia e História da Coreia
2 - A génese de uma identidade: A emergência das primeiras formações políticas. Os Três Reinos e a unificação de Silla (sécs. IV a. C. - X)
3 – Goryeo e Joseon: a consolidação dinástica interna (sécs. X - XIX )
4 – O período contemporâneo I: Nacionalismos e a expansão das potências do Pacífico (1894–1945)
5 – O período contemporâneo II: Duas Coreias, dois sistemas. Da guerra fria aos desafios da globalização (1945 - séc. XXI)

O exame escrito procura avaliar o conhecimento dos conteúdos programáticos analisados ao longo do semestre, no contexto dos objectivos da cadeira. O trabalho escrito pretende aferir a capacidade de estudo e análise de temas específicos a partir de fontes e/ou bibliografia. A assiduidade e participação nas aulas serão igualmente elementos ponderados para a classificação final.
