Objectivos de aprendizagem | Learning outcomes

Entender elementos constantes da cultura coreana, analisando igualmente as particularidades de cada conjuntura.

Estudar a absorção de modelos civilizacionais chineses e o modo como, num contexto identitário coreano, esses modelos são exportados para o mundo asiático.

Na contemporaneidade, analisar a configuração da identidade coreana num contexto de globalização.

 

Programa | Course description

1 – Elementos e ritmos da cultura coreana

2 – A construção de uma identidade: A absorção de padrões culturais chineses e a emergência de uma cultura aristocrata  (sécs. IV – XIV)

3 – A ‘Cultura Yangban’ – Neo-confucionismo e a redefinição de uma cultura nacional coreana (sécs. XIV - XIX)

4 –Modernidade cultural coreana no contexto das expansões imperiais (séc. XX)

5 –Cultura coreana e globalização (sécs. XX - XXI)

 

Avaliação | Grading and Assessment

 60% exame escrito

40% trabalho escrito

O exame escrito procura avaliar o conhecimento dos conteúdos programáticos analisados ao longo do semestre, no contexto dos objectivos da cadeira. O trabalho escrito pretende aferir a capacidade de estudo e análise de temas específicos a partir de fontes e/ou bibliografia. A assiduidade e participação nas aulas serão igualmente elementos ponderados para a classificação final.
