We watched Uri Hasson's Tedtalk "Your brain in Communication" https://www.ted.com/talks/uri_hasson_this_is_your_brain_on_communication which illustrates how storytelling influences, not only the way people think, but the way they process thought.

We then discussed the ideas presented in this lecture in the context of the 2 articles on reality TV and social media, and how these forms of "storytelling" can and have altered ways of thinking and concepts of truth - opening the door for the acceptance and belief in concepts like "fake news".
