Presentation of course content and calendar; assessment, course requirements and expectations

The  link to the pre-recorded Zoom lecture may be found in Moodle.
Students have been given the password for Moodle, where they will find the course calendar, the Programme and supplementary literature.
In the recorded Zoom lecture, students will become acquainted with the Programme, course calendar, requirements and assessment criteria, which are as follows:

o   Attendance and participation in class discussions (20%); 

o   Assignment(s) based on the reading of on one or more of the recommended theoretical texts (20%); 

o   Research project to be presented and discussed in class (30%)

o   Written Test (30%)


Detailed guidelines for the reading assignment and the research project may be found in  the Course Pack.


Important dates:

6 November: Submission of the written Research Project Proposal in Moodle

27 November: Written Test


Office Hours

Thursday: 15h30-16h30 by prior arrangement.

Students should send me an email, by 6 pm on Tuesday, to paulah@letras.ulisboa.pt to request a meeting. Links to the Zoom meeting will be sent on Wednesday afternoon. If an office hours session is complete when students send a request, they will be put on the list for the session the following week.
