The article by Veronica Beechey allowed us to make a review of the most relevant approaches to the topic of patriarchy from the perspective of radical, revolutionary, and Marxist feminism, with a particular emphasis on the definition of the relationship between production and reproduction in capitalist society (industrial mode of production and family mode of production). We also talked about the relationship between patriarchy and ideology, and all the possible contradictions that may arise from the adoption of such a stance (relative vs. autonomous theory of ideology).
