Course description and aims. Teaching-learning methodologies, including assessment and grading criteria of oral presentations/student led-discussions and critical essays. Class policies. Office hours (Tuesdays 5-6 pm).

Assessment: attendance, oral participation and oral presentation/student-led discussion (15+20%); written assignment (critical essay) due by 4 April (30%); written test on 27 April (35%).

NOTE: For oral presentations, discussion questions are to be submitted at least 24 hours in advance via e-mail. For the critical essay, students must draft a work plan and discuss it beforehand.
