Today, I modeled an oral presentation (The Giant's Necklace) so that TP3 would know what's expected of them for their upcoming oral presentations.  They then used the remainder of the class to prepare.

Today, I carried out online homework tutorials with Lucas and Claudia.  (Laura came and carried out a tutorial with me during TP10's slot.)

Preparation for upcoming oral presentations

Today, TP3 was instructed as to how to prepare for their upcoming oral presentations.

The model PowerPoint (The Giant's Necklace) is in the shared Google drive in the oral presentations folder.

The presentations will be carried out on May 10th in the following order:
  1. The White Horse of Zennor - Laura Viegas
  2. 'Gone to Sea' - Claudia Soquessa
  3. Milk for the Cat - Lucas Marques
Next class: I will model the oral presentation by presenting Michael Morpurgo's The Giant's Necklace.

Today, TP3 came to class having chosen an exercise or text that they wish to develop into a 200-250 word text.  They spent the full lesson writing this text and it should be typed up and emailed me as soon as possible.  This is in preparation for the upcoming written test.
