TP3 started the lesson by doing their first in-class listening exercise.  Those of you who did not come to class are HIGHLY recommended to listen to the recording at home, answer the questions, and take note of what you scored as I might ask you what you got.  You can find the listening exercise on line here:

Students then went on to do their first in-class speaking exercise:

B1.1 Speaking: Describing yourself

Get in pairs and ask each other the following questions:

1.    What’s your name?

2.    Tell me about your family and/or your pets?

3.    What do you do?

4.    What three things do you like most?

5.    What three things do you dislike most?

6.    If you could do anything – or be anywhere – what/where would it be?

7.    Any other questions…

When you’ve finished, swap!  When you and your partner know everything about each other, go and find another partner!

Next class: we will be doing more reading, listening and speaking - so make sure you come to class!
