Special places – Look at the list of places below.

-          A cathedral or mosque

-          A castle

-          A concert hall

-          A famous street

-          A museum

-          A monument

-          A natural park

-          A shopping mall

Choose three that you know or have visited and that you believe your audience is not familiar with and prepare a mini-presentation where you answer some of the following questions:

1)          Is there anything special about the design?

2)      What did you think of this place?

3)      What is the area like around this place?

4)      Do you like going there?

5)      Have you seen any other areas that are similar?

Also try to be as descriptive as possible when talking about the places. For example, look at the phrases below that you can use:

-          Airy and Spartan

-          Archetypal multicolored stained-glass windows

-          Full of sculptures and angles and arches

-          Huge circle with red bricks

-          Built on huge ball bearings

-          Openness and whiteness
