2. Structure of the test to be done from home at class hours on 18th March:The test will have three parts:
Part 1: writing a letter of advice (please revise what is said on page 16 of the Workbook)

Part 2: writing an account about a personal experience using a photo as a prompt (Assignment 1 done by most of you has already provided practice for this section)

Part 3: Asking and answering your own questions about a given passage (Assignments 2 and 3 have already provided practice on this). 

3. The first Writing Test will be held, as scheduled, on 18th March. This test is now worth 10% of your final grade. The second Writing Test is now worth 40% of your final grade.

The test will be done at home during the class hours, i.e. 8-10 a.m. 

You will be sent the test by email 5 minutes before the test is due to start. 

Please make sure that you are prepared and ready to start at the appointed time, as above indicated. It goes without saying that you'll need to have your computer turned on and make sure you have internet connection.

You have two hours to do the test, as usual.

I will be available online during the test to clear any doubts you may have. Just email me and I will try and reply to you as soon as possible.

You must send your answers by email (saved as a Word file) 15 minutes after 10 a.m. at the latest.

Tests submitted later than the appointed time shall not be marked, and the student will get a zero out of 20. 

All doubts will be cleared by email.
