ENGLISH B1.2 - EXAM INFORMATION:
  • Following last semester's organisation, the exam will take place on June 1st, a Monday, from 2.00-4.00pm, that is, during normal class hour. 
  • The exam will be sent by email to those enrolled by e-mail at 1.50pm and everyone must submit their answers until 4.10pm. No exam will be accepted after 4.10pm.
  • Students will answer the question paper, which will be sent in word.doc format, directly on the file sent.
  • The exam will have two mandatory written questions (paragraphs), plus grammar exercises.

  • Material:
Grammar: verb tenses; modal verbs; prepositions & phrasal verbs; reported speech;
Reading: "Can you be British without Speaking English?"; "Cyprus Avenue" & novel  Pigeon English by Stephen Kelman
Watching: "Men against Fire" ( Black Mirror)
Writing: argumentative paragraph & literary paragraph
