First writing test given back to students and feedback on main mistakes given. Discussion of the short story "Neighbours" by Paul Theroux continued. Grammar practice: Multi-word verbs (phrasal verbs and prepositional verbs). HOMEWORK: do the vocabulary exercises about personality adjectives sent by email please. REMINDER: there will be an in-class writing assignment on Monday (writing a character analysis essay).
