Short evidence-based editorials: a) analysing two examples of short evidence-based editorials (Texts 9 and 10) - "Killings of Journalists Bring Gun Violence to Dark New Level" (The New York Times) and "The arriving miserables" (The Washington Post"); b) preparing to create your own editorial (Workbook, pp. 31-33). HOMEWORK: Read through the guide to persuasive writing on pages 31-33 and write your own editorial. Write approximately 500 words. This assignment is due on November 19.
