Lesson on how both newspapers such as The Times and The Daily Telegraph, as well as major TV channels, use their reach to investigate crime and wrongdoing and then report this to the police. Explanation of how this means that the press must have freedom of action (use of secret filming and recording) as well as the freedom to publish their findings.
