Newspapers editorials: (a) analysing the language, tone, and structure of editorials from British tabloid and quality newspapers; (b) reading and discussion of two editorials from US papers: "Killings of journalists bring gun violence to dark new level" (The New York Times") and "The arriving miserables" (The Washington Times). HOMEWORK: Write an evidence-based editorial (instructions sent by email).
