The teacher modeled the upcoming presentations by presenting two articles, one tabloid, one broadsheet, to the class on 'Benefits Thieves'.
Following this was an analysis of the difference between tabloids and broadsheets.
Finally, students had to read in class the article “What is news?" which was followed by a discussion whereby students defined what 'news' meant to them.
