HW:
- Read Ch3-4.
As you read Ch3, mark A, B, C in the margin to signal the different dialogues that take place between A: DHC & Mond / B: Lenina & Fanny / C: Bernard & Henry). This is preparation for next Monday's class exercise.
- Finish Satire worksheet
- Write a paragraph using at least 8 of the following words (or correlative adjectives/adverbs, etc.) from Ch1-2:
callow / geniality / viviparous / abject / zealous / sultry / caste / prodigious / deft / apoplectic / posthumous / suffuse / smut / threshold / snigger / adhere / blob
The paragraph should focus on the concepts of setting and mood as explored in class, and either: follow up on your previous homework writing ex. where you imagined your version of Brave New World; or alternatively give your own interpretation/rewrite the setting and mood of Ch1 (DHC) or Ch2 (Nursuries).
