Introduction to writing descriptive texts

Introduction to the idea that one has to "see" before one can write descriptive texts.

Students did exercise on pages 45-46 of their manual where they wrote an introductory paragraph to a descriptove text on a guitar based on the seperate sentences presented to them - observation of the types of descriptions i.e they could be based on physical description, using or connections.

Read and reviewed other exemples on pages 46-47. Discussion of the diferente structures.

Students must consider a topic that they will write a descriptive text about - this can be an object, a person or a location. They will work with this in the next class.
