The themes "The Presence and Absence of Ambiguous Consent in Relationships " and "The effects of pollution on the health of the planet and human health" were defined and discussed in light of contemporary events and as they are represented in the three set novels  Not the Same Sky, The Handmaid's Tale  and  Exit West.
