Today Vânia and Filipa gave their TED Talks. Then we prepared for Tuesday’s test by reviewing some of the topics that will be covered, including third conditional sentences and the continuous aspect (Google Drive, Week 12 subfolder).

Today Adelina and Antonino gave their TED Talks. Then we had a preliminary discussion of the benefits and drawbacks of daydreaming and started working on the continuous aspect with exercises 3 and 4a (course pack, p. 30).

Homework (for Tuesday, May 5): Please read the explanation of the continuous aspect on p. 32 (left-hand side) and do exercises 1, 2, and 3 on p. 32 (right-hand side).
