Students worked in groups to analyze the descriptive elements of the following excerpts:

• The Journals of Sylvia Plath;
• The Diary of Virginia Woolf;
• two poems by Anne Michaels:
• There is no city that does not dream;
• Last night's moon.

Students must prepare a class presentation on their text outlining the descriptive tools used in their piece and illustrating the overall mood of it.

One group presented: Constança, Rute, Mariana and Joana.

The remaining groups will present next class.
