In preparation for the individual assessed presentations, students spoke about themselves and their interests to the class as a warm up, and then in pairs presented a short speech on contrasting images projected by the teacher on the screen (e.g. traditional vs. online shopping; rural vs. city life)  with the support of a prompt sheet.
