First we recapped on what we had learned from Winston Churchill's We Shall Fight on the Beaches.

We then watched the vídeo clip of Barack Obama's 2012 Acceptance Speech.   TP1 was put into four groups and asked to identify the persuasive writing techniques in their allocated section of his speech, and to list the different types of American voters targeted in their section.
