Today we re-watched the youtube clip of Winston Churchill's We Shall Fight on the Beaches and students carried on analyzing the text and identifying persuasive writing techniques within it.
We then watched the vídeo clip of Barack Obama's 2012 Acceptance Speech. TP1 was put into four groups and asked to identify the persuasive writing techniques in their allocated section of his speech, and to list the different types of American voters targeted in their section.
