Students finished learning about prepositions today, namely time, position and direction prepositions.
Students who missed this class are HIGHLY recommended to go through the prepositions PowerPoint that they were sent at the beginning of the year.

Following this, we began our Descriptive Writing course unit and learned how to identify a dominant mood or tone in a piece and explored how this is achieved through sensory detail. Students who missed this class should go through this section of the course book to see what they have missed.
Students then went out to
Campo Grande Park to carry out a descriptive writing exercise. This piece can be handed in as the optional descriptive homework assignment which is due on the 3rd of March.
