Today we finished reading and analyzing Joyce Carol Oates' Small Avalanches.

Next class: we will start our unit on Persuasive Writing by learning about 20 different persuasive writing techniques and will apply these to the analysis of Winston Churchill's We Shall Fight on the Beaches.
