Today, TP3 finished their very impressive analysis of Barack Obama's 2012 DNC speech, having identified the techniques and target voters in each of their sections.

Next class: we will begin to look at Expository Writing.  It is important that students come to all lessons from now one as they will be simultaneously learning about expository writing while preparing for their oral examinations.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: next week's midterm dates have been changed.  The Descriptive/Narrative Writing test (Midterm Test Part 1) will now be held on November 26th and the Persuasive Writing test (Midterm Test Part 2) will now be held on December 3rd.  This is to allow students to have tutorials and homework feedback before each section of the the test.  Descriptive/narrative homework assignments will be returned as soon as possible and tutorials will be held next week.
