Discussion of the programme:

- development of discursive language through  translation, writing, critical analysis, discussion and debate:

-the viewing of at least two films by a contemporary British/American director

- development of language and techniques for structured debates

 – translation of texts (Portuguese-English) to highlight specific language structures

Teaching methodologies (including evaluation)

 Students will be assessed on attendance, class work (oral and written), homework and tests (written and oral).

Weighting will be as follows:
