Since appropriate use of the Present Perfect form is generally considered to be an area of difficulty among B2.2. students, this lesson focused on providing students with a  synthesis of grammar book explanations of the differences between use of the Present Perfect and Simple Past forms. This was followed by a lengthydiscussion and the completion of an exercise.
