In the class we discovered the difference between formal and informal use of Slovene greetings, how we use negation and learned about the grammatical gender. We did exercises to understand Slovene dual and worked on new words. The second half of the lecture we learned about Slovene cuisine.
Slovene grammar and alphabet

In the class we started with learning new words and worked on vocabulary. We learned about Slovene alphabet and the differences to Portuguese one, practice pronunciation and started with the first simple verbs (to be, to work, to study....). The second part of the lecture was dedicated to interesting points and natural wonders of Slovenia.
Avant garde literature with focus on Slovenia

The class was dedicated to Avant-Garde literature in Central and South Europe on special focus on Slovene literature. During the class we started in the early 20th century and learned about how Slovene literature was getting it's avantgarde tendences, we explained what circles in Slovene literature can be seen as Avantgarde and chronologically went from the first historical avant garde groups to the movement of Constructivism in Srečko Kosovel poetry.

During the class we practice what we learned in the last two classes and slowly started with grammar. We did the nominative and work on our vocabulary. We also presented Slovenia as a country in numbers (information about Slovenia).

In class we practice how to greet someone in Slovenia and learned how to introduce yourself. We used the workbook "Slovenska beseda v živo 1a" and also use exercises from the book "Odkrivajmo slovenščino".
