This homework is, again, for commentary practice, Until Monday, March 16th, I intend to give feedback to everybody who comments either on this post and/or on the one for today's homework ( http://northamericandiasporalit.blogspot.com/2020/03/hw-for-march-11-commentary-practice.html)That way - with the practice and my feedback - you can make yourselves ready for the commentary you already were supposed to ride as a distance evaluation assignment.  
2. Commentary - evaluation essay. I will give instructions for it on Tuesday, March 19th, and you should have it ready ti send it to me by email by Monday, March 23rd, at class time and until 2 p. m. It shall have no more than 62 lines, double-space, following the requirements for commentary we already saw:1.     contextualize the quotation and explain what you understand by it2.     develop contrary and/or subsequent arguments3.     establish relations with at least two other texts studied in class4.     Express your opinion and justify it.5.     Use sentence connectors to help you structure your commentary6.     Mind the paragraphs7.     Conclude. 3. Oral presentations: I am arranging with the groups of Sherman Alexie's and Gloria Anzaldúa's texts alternative forms of presenting their works - namely with video and/or audiorecording to be diestributed among you. 
4. Until the suspension of classes is over: - I will continue posting class contents in the blog, and will send you an email whenever there is a new class. Right now we have the next two classes covered.
