Introduction – What Is Logic?

1 – Propositional Calculus

2 – First Order Predicate Calculus

 

Grading and Assessment:

Students are expected to make two written tests in class:

1^st test – November 2, 2023

2^nd test – December 14, 2023

 

 

Readings (selection):

H. Kahane, Logic and Philosophy (1969, 1^st edition – other editions would do).

Exercises book by João Branquinho
