All the texts for translation will be uploaded to Moodle before each lesson.

The classes are practical and therefore possible translation solutions will be discussed in class as we progress through the texts.

The focus in these classes will be on:

conventions of journalistic writing;

appropriate use of the present perfect and simple past forms;

translating titles/names of entities

reducing sentence length
