8. Objectivos de aprendizagem (conhecimentos, aptidões e competências a desenvolver pelos estudantes):

1.            Identificar os princípios teóricos e metodológicos para a preservação, conservação e acesso continuado à informação, incluindo formas de produção/aquisição, selecção, organização, representação, recuperação e uso da informação

2.            Compreender a conservação de informação como um processo proactivo e contínuo

3.            Dar a conhecer aos alunos as características particulares dos suportes documentais analógicos e electrónicos e os problemas colocados na sua gestão.

4.            Referir as soluções e mecanismos utilizados para tentar ultrapassar estas dificuldades.

 

8. Learning outcomes of the curricular unit:

1. Identify the theoretical and methodological principles for the preservation, conservation and continued access to information, including forms of production / acquisition, selection, organization, representation, retrieval and use of information

2. Understand the conservation of information as a proactive and continuous process

3. Make known to students the specific characteristics of analog and electronic document media / formats and the problems with its management.

4. Refer the solutions and mechanisms used to attempt to overcome these difficulties.

11. Metodologias de ensino (avaliação incluída):

Tendo em conta a natureza técnica da cadeira, o curso prevê uma apresentação dos conteúdos programáticos em aulas expositivas; amplo espaço será dado a perguntas e reflexões com o objetivo de favorecer a aprendizagem dos tópicos fundamentais por parte de alunos de diferente formação. Para a avaliação, é fundamental o trabalho autónomo realizado fora das aulas: os alunos deverão estudar todos os conteúdos programáticos do curso com o apoio da bibliografia.

 

Critério de Avaliação:

- Trabalho de grupo (4 elementos) (40%)

- Trabalho individual a entregar em formato electrónico (.PDF). (40%)

- Proactividade, participação, serendipidade na aula (20%).

 

11. Teaching methodologies (including evaluation):

Considering the technical character of the course, the contents will be presented in expository lessons; relevance will be given to questions and reflections in order to allow students of different background to comprehend and learn the key topics. For the evaluation, autonomous work at home is fundamental: students should study the course topics with the support of bibliography.

 

Assessment criteria:

- Group work (4 elements) (40%).

- Writing of an individual essay in digital format (.PDF) (40%).

- Proactivity, participation, serendipity (20%).

 

12. Demonstração da coerência das metodologias de ensino com os objetivos de aprendizagem da unidade curricular.

As metodologias de ensino e de aprendizagem visam o desenvolvimento integrado nos estudantes dos conhecimentos referidos nos conteúdos programáticos e a concretização dos objetivos e competências estabelecidos. A diversidade de metodologias propostas tem por objetivo potenciar a abordagem da preservação e segurança da informação numa perspetiva de complexidade, procurando evidenciar diferentes níveis de análise, fomentando a integração de saberes. Os métodos e estratégias propostos pretendem desenvolver nos estudantes conhecimentos, compreensão e competências ao nível da aplicação.

 

12. Demonstration of the coherence between the teaching methodologies and the learning outcomes.

Teaching and learning methods aim the knowledge of the contents referred to in the syllabus, reaching the targeted goals and competencies. The diverse methods aim to approach information preservation and in their complexity, seeking to highlight different levels of analysis, fostering an integrated knowledge. The proposed strategies aim to develop students' knowledge, understanding and skills.
