Reviewed with students their intralingual translation of Genesis 11 v 1 - 9. Focused on gist translation, exegetic translation and ideal rephrasing while keeping in mind their target audience. 

Discussed how to achieve an ideal translation by looking at SL bias and TL bias. The discussion was based on different translation methods such as: interlineal, literal, faithful, balanced, idiomizing and free translation.
