Translation methods (SL bias, TL bias and the scale in-between)

Discussed some of the translation methods proposed by Newmark including, interlineal, literal, faithful, balanced, idiomizing and free translation. Students then did a practical exercise where they had to translate proverbs and sentences into Portuguese using one of the previously mentioned methods. Discussion on their translations ensued.
