Focusing on Skopos

Students were asked to translate an article (excerpt) from the National Geographic Magazine. Students were asked to analyze some of the defining proporties of the text and come up with the best translation strategies  based on the priorities imposed by the skopos of the text. The title of the text is "The paper crafts bring the party on the Day of the Dead".
