Reviewed some basic definitions/notions about translation such as strategic decisions/decisions of detail along with intersemiotic and intralingual translation. I then asked students to do an intralingual translation of Genesis 11, v. 1-9  while trying to adapt it for a specific purpose and a specific public. Students started this practical exercise in groups.
