We read a text focusing on technology and students were asked to analyze text’s basic features (structure, language (lexis/register) and potential translation challenges and suggest suitable strategies to address them). They were then put into groups to translate the ST into Portuguese for a car magazine. Their aim was to comply with the conventions of news writing.
