The basic expressions and concepts when we are dealing with Sociology of Communication / Sociology of Mass Media were presented in this class:

- the basic ingredients of communication
- the distinction between interpersonal communication and mass communication
- the basic assumptions towards media literacy

The assessment and grading methods were also reviewed.
