The audiences (2)

In this class we introduced the area of research focused on audiences that is known as Cultural Studies, and also become known as Birmingham School (although it has some developments in the United States).
We also watched an excerpt of the tv series Friends and the students then wrote some brief notes interpreting what they had just seen - the idea of this short task was to launch the topic of how individuals in an audience may interpret the same program differently.
