The last section of Unit 3 in the coursebook Istanbul was completed. The prepositions for comparison and resemblance/similarity "kadar" and "gibi" were introduced through a short text and various examples were examined.

Numerous written and oral exercises were completed regarding the nominal sentences with future tense. The student listened to an audio -a dialogue including various usages of future tense- and answered the questions in written and oral way.

The future tense was further revised through its affirmative, interrogative and negation forms. An exemplary reading text on holiday plan were read and the reading questions were answered by the students.

Introduction and revision

The students were introduced to the grammar subjects to be covered during the spring term along with the course requirements and evaluation criteria. The previous grammar topics (e.g. future tense, definite past tense, optative case) were revised through numerous written exercises along with the oral activities.
