So far I’ve received 21 summaries of Raymond Williams’s text on Literature, which is good, considering the fact that you c. 27 students.

Today’s poem for reflection and maybe to brighten up your day is by Emily Brontë, the author of the famous novel, Wuthering Heights (worth reading, by the way). It is only the opening stanza:

Redbreast, early in the morning

Dank and cold and cloudy grey,

Wildly tender is thy music,

Chasing angry thoughts away.
