What next?

Dear Students,

 

I hope you are all well.

In order to make ready for the classes we will be having after the Easter Holidays (8 – 14 April), I will be sending you by e-mail as attachments the documents where you will find: 1 - the new calendar for the remaining classes when we will be using the Zoom platform; 2 - the new evaluation process and criteria, and 3 - the ways in which our work in class will be carried out.

Basically, the first two classes (16 and 21 April) will be mostly lectures by me, but you are expected to prepare the reading assignments for these two sessions beforehand.

After that you will be organized in work groups of four (very much as we did in class) and you are expected to present the result of your analysis and interpretation work in each of the following sessions, according to the calendar sent to you.

Note that each group will have to choose one element to be the spokesperson for the group. S/he will be responsible for presenting the results of your work to the rest of the group.

Please read attentively all the documents, which you will be receiving shortly by e-mail, so as to avoid sending me silly questions. However, if you have any SERIOUS questions, do not hesitate to contact me.

I have tried to make things both interesting and accessible for you, because I am aware we are living under exceptionally stressful circumstances. But we have to finish our classes as best we can and also keep ourselves busy – it’s part of our mental health.

So I very much hope you will enjoy the topics and poems we are going to explore together in the remaining classes.
