Watching and discussing three videos on "What is law? What is the Common Law?" and answering questions from pages 57-59 SW.

Discussing concepts such as : what is law; what is Common Law, court structure; distinction between law and rule; parliamentary sovereignty; sources of law.

Choosing motions for the second and third rounds of the debates.

Second round motion: "This House believes that data protection laws should protect online privacy"

Third round motion:" This House would prohibit citizens who do not reside in their native country from voting in its elections"

Reading and discussing cultural references in "A one nation justice policy", an extract from the speech delivered at the Legatum Institute by the (then) Secretary of State for Justice on June 23, 2015.
