The Unlovable Press

Reading of text from the anthology on the role of the press (and nowadays the media in general) as a watchdog. Further explanation of the concept of "public interest" and "what the public is interested in" and how newspapers, in order to be independent, have to be financially independent and so have to give the public what they want. Then if they sell they can make even more money from advertising. All to avoid the danger of government control and the subsequent censorship.
