 You should read all the texts and write a report addressing the questions below.

 READING MATTERS Texts 24-32 were grouped under (A), (B) and (C).

 For each of these groups consider the following questions:

1.     Identify two themes common to the three texts.

2.     Suggest the two most obvious differences between the three texts.

 Organise your ideas into three paragraphs:

Paragraph 1: group (A) texts

Paragraph 2: group (B) texts

Paragraph 3: group (C) texts

Word limit: approximately 800 words

Assignment 1:

You should read TEXTS 21, 22 and 23 and then choose one of them to do the following writing assignment:

Choose 3 passages that address relevant aspects. These may give key information, back up the information given, or summarise the author’s key points. They might also be passages that strike your fancy for some reason, are particularly well written, or might be controversial or contradictory with other passages or other information learned in class.

In your answer, you will need to include a summary of each passage, and an explanation of why you think each passage is important. Word limit: approximately 600 words

REMINDER: Even though you will be focusing on one of these texts, please remember that everyone should be familiar with the contents of all texts as these are topics you may have to address in the test.

 Assignment 2:

Do the Vocabulary-expansion exercise related to the Reading Matters TEXTS 21-23 and send your answers saved as a Word document.

 Both assignments are due on 19th March not later than 6 pm.

With a view to minimising the effects of suspended classes, here are some instructions for 3 homework assignments and the dates when they are due.

Assignment 1:

You should read TEXTS 21, 22 and 23 and then choose one of them to do the following writing assignment:
