Continued screening of The Talented Mr. Ripley  - discussion of elements of mise-en-scene and how these foretell plot twists (primer/undercoat scene) or maintain a positive mood even if the characters' dialogues refer to "dangerous" future events - i.e the garden in the "talents" scene.
