Close Reading of the last 2 pages of The Hopeless Life of Charlie Summers.

There is a shift in the storyline and narrating style from Chaps 9 to 10 so we did a Close Reading of this section to identify markers in the form and language used in this section to see if this indicates the future development of the story.

3 students then presented their readings of Chaps 10, 11 and 12 and there was an open class discussion on this topic.
