Journal writing

28 Março 2016, 08:00 Bernardo Manzoni Palmeirim

Students wrote and read out journal entries.
First in pairs from the point of view of either Bernard or Lenina, regarding their expectations on their upcoming visit to Malpais and their thoughts about the other character (Ch6).
Then they wrote from the other character's point of view, individually, on their reaction to Malpais and the other character.

Students were asked to implement selected vocabulary, extracted from the relevant chapters, into their journal entries.

Selected students then read their paragraphs, and after a short feedback session, language points were put up on the board and discussed .
